RankTheGame is a personal, non-commercial project. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the Service and do not sell your data to any third party.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: When you register, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address and profile name.

Session data: We log when you start and end a session, approximate session duration, your IP address, and derived geolocation (country and city).

Usage events: We record interactions such as revealing a game score, clicking for game details, and applying filters. No keystrokes or browsing outside of RankTheGame is collected.

Technical data: Your browser user-agent string is stored alongside session records for debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU). Authentication tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to any third party beyond Supabase.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Retention

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. See our Data Protection page for details on how to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies
