Privacy

We collect only the personal information reasonably necessary to create and manage your pilot account, such as your full name and email address. If we already have your phone number from the pilot invitation or prior contact, we will use it only for pilot-related communication.

We do not use this information for purposes unrelated to the pilot, and we do not sell it or use it for marketing.

During the pilot, we may collect anonymous usage statistics, performance data, and any feedback you choose to share with us. This information is used solely to operate, evaluate, and improve RTG.

We may retain your information for the duration of the pilot and for a reasonable period afterward for security, troubleshooting, and legal purposes.

Adults only / minors

This pilot is intended for adult participants only. You are responsible for how you use RTG and for any minors you choose to allow to view or use the app. RTG is not responsible for any use of the app by minors without appropriate supervision or consent from their legal guardian.

Rank The Game ("RTG", "we", "us", or "our") is an application that helps users discover and rate games, similar to how IMDb rates movies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information during our private pilot for invited adult participants in Israel.

2. Information we collect

During the pilot, we collect:

• Account information: Your name and email address, which you provide when you register or sign in.
• Phone number: We may already have your phone number from the pilot invitation or prior contact.

• Usage data (non-personal): Anonymous or aggregated information about how you use the app, such as which screens you visit, how often you use the app, performance data, and crash reports.
• Feedback: Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you choose to send us.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data.

• Create and manage your pilot account and allow you to use RTG.
• Operate, test, evaluate, and improve RTG, including fixing bugs and analyzing usage patterns.

The pilot is currently limited to participants in Israel. We process your information based on:

• Legal obligations, when we need to retain or disclose certain information to comply with applicable law or protect our rights.

If data protection laws of other jurisdictions apply to you, we will handle your information in accordance with those laws to the extent required.

• Service providers that help us operate RTG (such as hosting, analytics, or email services), under agreements that require them to protect your information and use it only on our instructions.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, particularly during a pre-release pilot, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Adults only and responsibility for minors

RTG's private pilot is intended for adult participants only. By participating in the pilot, you confirm that you are an adult according to the laws of your place of residence.

If you choose to allow a minor (such as your child) to view or use RTG:

• You remain fully responsible for supervising the minor's use of the app and for any content the minor may access.
• RTG is not responsible for any use of the app by minors without appropriate supervision or consent from their legal guardian.

We do not knowingly enter into pilot participation with minors directly.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as:

• Accessing the personal information we hold about you.
• Requesting correction of inaccurate information.
• Requesting deletion of your information, in certain circumstances.
• Objecting to or restricting certain types of processing.
• Withdrawing your consent, where we rely on consent.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by updating the date at the top of this page or showing a notice in the app).

RankTheGame helps you discover which games are actually worth watching, before you know the score.

Every completed game gets an independent RTG Score, based on how competitive, dramatic, and exciting it really was. You decide if it's worth your time. The result stays hidden until you choose to reveal it.

We built RankTheGame because sports fans don't need more content - they need a simple way to find what's worth watching. With games happening across time zones and headlines spoiling outcomes before you even get a chance to watch, discovering a great game shouldn't feel like a gamble. RankTheGame currently covers the NBA and WNBA, with more sports on the way.
